KASRA ZANDI Direttore artistico del Garmsar Khorush e strumentista di tar, liuto a manico lungo a tre corde doppie. Nato a Tehran il 14 agosto1977 ha iniziato giovanissimo a suonare il setar, studiando poi per sei anni il ‘Radif-e Mirza Abdollah’ alla scuola del maestro Farshad Tavakkoli. Ha collaborato per 5 anni con il maestro Majid Kiani. Numerosi i concerti eseguiti come solista e in gruppo, in diverse città iraniane. Insegna tar e setar. |
KASRA ZANDI Born in 1977, Kasra studied fundamentals of Iranian music & Radif of Mirza Abdollah on Setar (1995) with Farshad Tavakoli. Meantime he has dedicated much of his time to understand and revive authentic styles of Persian Music by studying under master Majid Kiani since 1998. he has played in many concerts as a “setar player” in cities such as Tehran, Semnan, Gorgan, Garmsar, and countries such as Italy. he teaches “setar” in Music Institutes. |
